(15,411 characters)I gained a lot of respect and insight for Harbor Freight when I got to meet their engineering team at SEMA. If you guys ever have an opportunity to go to SEMA, stop by the Harbor Freight booth because the engineers that actually design, build, and test these tools are all standing around waiting there to answer your questions. So, you guys can actually talk to the people that build these tools first hand. And one of the things I discovered about Harbor Freight that a lot of people don't know or realize is that their engineering team is inside the United States. But on top of that, they also do all of the testing and refining of these tools inside of the United States. Now, the production is global. The main thing that Harbor Freight focuses on is cutting out the middle men. So, they're what they're able to do is produce tools that are equivalent to the top of the line tools that you see anywhere available, but then bring them to you for a much less expense just simply because they don't have so many middle men touching those tools that are doing absolutely nothing. So, they're basically building just as good as anybody else around that you can find, but not charging you for it. And here's the thing. Harbor Freight actually has specific tools aimed at specific levels. So, the Hercules that you're going to see us picking up inside of the video today, those are the top of the line, but they have mid-level and then they have lower-tiered tools, too. So, that you can find a tool that fits your price budget. But let's dive into today's video and you're going to see us getting a big shipment from Harbor Freight, and we'll show you what we picked up cuz we're just starting our own garage build. Let's get this one going. Well, I just pissed myself off because I hate being late for anything and I really annoys me when people are late when they're supposed to meet me and I'm late right now. So, I'm doing the exact thing that I absolutely hate. We've got to head out to the shop. We've got a carrier dropping off all of the brand new tools that outfit the brand new shop that we just rented. Uh it's the nicest shop we've ever had. It's nothing special probably for 99% of you guys, but for us it's the best one we've ever had yet. But, we got to fly. So, and we're supposed to have icy roads today. That'll make our trip even more fun. Why not, right? All right, let's go. I'm just in time. Hi Timmy. Looks like I made it just in time. Yeah. How you doing, man? Hey, Stan. And Timmy. Good. Nice to meet you. Yeah, you want to just park Can you put it right on the concrete right over here? Let's go inside the shop. We got anything in the shop people can't see? >> Um I don't know. Stick your head in there first, see what you think. >> This is the nicest shop we've ever had, Tim. Did you ever see the shop in Hollandale? >> Um >> Like way back in the day? >> I went down there with your dad. >> It was a two-car garage that had a wicked tilt to it. So, we had to prop it up. That's what I grew up in for the first 18-20 years. I never had a shop like this. I never had concrete floors ever. >> No. >> And it wasn't until we moved out to South Saint Paul and you guys seen that shop. That shop had raccoons living in it that we never kicked out cuz they needed a home, too. >> Right. >> Right? >> They just raided us once in a while through their garbage can. >> They would. They would. We'd have little paw prints over the of the hoods of our stuff. This is absolutely the nicest shop we've ever had and we've got Oh, it looks like we've already got started on the next one of the next giveaway trucks right here. Looks like Alex doesn't like to hold off, does he? >> Got to keep them moving, man. >> So, there it is before. This one we're uh we're just getting all the We just wrapped it up yesterday, so all of the final entries we got to give it 3 days for anybody that did mail in to finally get their stuff in, right? By legal by legal rights. So, >> Oh, yeah. >> we're waiting for that waiting for the last dogs to come in for the mail-in entries and it goes along with this one. Can we show them the And this is where we've been making all of our own t-shirts and hats for you guys. So, this is it. This is everything that we've got lined up. Nicest shop we've ever had, I was telling them. >> Yeah, it is the nicest shop we've ever had. >> By far. By far. But, the tools are here. >> Are they? >> Yep, they're sitting outside. Let's go get them in. >> Okay. >> Dang. See, normally we'd have to have a skiddy here because it's we're unloading in mud. >> Yeah. >> And and we'd be our boots would be caked and weather like this we'd all be we'd all be going home with our knees wet from the top to the bottom. Look at some of these trucks. Alex, I think you're going to like this. >> Oh, that's pretty awesome. Dang, orange with black trim. >> Yeah, yeah, matches our logo. >> Oh, that's sick. >> Uh-huh. Oh, man, I'm drooling. I'm drooling. That is gorgeous. Look at that, Simi. Is that freaking awesome or what? Just don't drop it. Not making you nervous, are we? Woah! What a fun day. Never thought we'd be able to set up our shop like this. Uh Alex, where do you want the locker? Do you want to set it here? >> Set it anywhere right here. We can move it around. >> Yeah, that's that's something we got to move around. >> The worst delivery I ever had was uh my greenhouse. It fell right off the truck. >> Really? >> Yeah. And just crashed right onto the ground from the top. >> Dude, that other one sucked. That guy was >> Oh, the fireplace? >> Yes. I came in and he had one tipped over inside the inside the truck. He's kind of facing at a little angle downhill. >> He came from Pennsylvania with like tanker. >> Tanker? >> Yeah. >> And some of them were like I think 2,400 lbs or >> Each. Yeah, it was like totally 10,000 lbs. >> tipped and like I go to grab it and I'm like, "Oh, we ain't moving that." So I'm like, "What are we going to do?" He's like, "I'm going to tip it upright and strap it to the pallet." And he had a skid there. So he threw a strap way in there and then drug it out to the skid and he had that ramp. So when he teetered over the edge, he started lowering the ramp and stood it right up. There was no other way to do it, but he would have been so like he would have had to bring it bring it back or do something. >> I warned that delivery company five times that I was I think I was in Vegas or something shooting a show and I'm like, "I'm not going to be there the day. Make sure you have the right tools, equipment and you know what you're doing. The day you bring it and they come out with a hand cart to unload 10,000 lb of stonework on three pallets that are broken and snapped, right? Was it three? I think it was three or four. >> Three or four. >> Yep. >> But he uh yeah, he probably had no idea. He probably just gets the ticket. Yep, pick this up, this is what you're bringing, you know. >> Yeah. Yeah. I had to So, and for you guys that don't know the rest of the story, I'm in Vegas. The guys can't get anything off, so I have to call Timmy who has to drive 45 minutes to my house, grab a skid loader, help this guy unload, and then drive 45 minutes back. >> Well, it worked out. >> Is this the last one, Jay? >> Yeah. >> Slide the pallet out now. You can't really go anymore. Unless it goes this way. Oh, never mind. Yeah, don't move anything. Just trip over all that crap, boys. >> That's how we normally do it. >> Yep. Remember, always lift with a twisting heaving motion. >> We got to lift from the bottom or we're not going to be able to get it high enough. >> Yeah, I can't. >> Maybe there's >> It makes it heavy real quick. >> It's not the end of the world. >> That's heavy. >> Especially trying to get your little nose pickers in that crevice. >> going to pinch your fingers. >> Dog, it's still rolling a little bit. >> I was wondering if there was a better way to do it, but we're >> I think we can back it up and run it up to the balance. You want to get out of here? Ready? Yeah, well, that's what was going on. I was wondering why the lift wasn't working. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Whoa, that's why Whoa, why isn't it sliding like it was before? Yeah, one side steers, the other side straight. >> Wait, I just needed to get it out of the way. >> Good. All right. Close. >> Yeah. Maybe you have a little gap. >> Yeah, that's what I was going to put my hands in. Here it goes. >> Whoa, whoa, whoa. >> I think this toolbox is worth more than my entire first shop. >> Toolbox is probably worth more than all the tools I have at home. >> And we've never required >> All right, guys. If you get squeamish and don't like gross things, just skip the next 50 seconds cuz yeah, stuff like that I I don't personally like and just grosses me out. But then after that, we're going to unveil the new tool chest and what we've got stocked in it. So, then jump back in. Just skip the next 50 seconds. That's your warning. This is really gross. You wonder why I was dancing around on time lapse there a minute ago. Go ahead and show them Let's show these guys what Alex did to his digit. >> Smashed his finger. This is the before. >> Get in there. >> That's the That's the That's meat. That's the nail bed coming up through the fingernail. >> And then I super glued it on. >> after he did And then he did his home surgery. >> Surgery on himself. >> Come on. >> What did you do, Al? How did you put it back together? >> I just stuffed it back in and dribbled a little super glue on there and That's the way to fix it. >> That's how we That's what happens when you do side jobs for cash. >> Wasn't worth it. >> $400? >> I don't know. Not really. >> All right, let's give them a toolbox here. We got stuff set up. We've got the jack stands down below. But we got two side two side doors, which is nice. All right, let's show them the rest of it. How do we get this out? I know it's pretty pretty empty. >> to go to the other side door? >> Yeah, let's go to the other side door. >> Yeah, we don't have anything in it yet. >> of room for stuff. >> So, this is the Harbor Freight. We got metric on one side and then we got your standard sizes on the other side. We got plenty of room to grow, don't we? >> Well, we got plenty of room for this stuff. >> for it. >> Oh, hey, there's a drawer. >> Yeah, yep, yep. >> Yeah, may may not have her full yet, but it will be. >> That looked pretty sad in there. One one screwdriver and >> What we got here? Oh, yeah. >> All right, here we go. We got some nice Hercules stuff. >> Go on, man. >> Hercules heat gun in there, I thought I saw. >> It wasn't. Yeah. >> Impact, nice. Nice. Do we got anything on the side drawers yet? >> Mhm. Not that one. >> Oh, not this one? >> I don't think so. >> Well, now you got me. >> Yeah, now you got it. Good memory. >> Ooh, some hammers. >> Yep. >> Yeah, that's nice. >> You can retrieve those. >> Yeah, and club you good. >> Mhm? >> Mhm. >> It won't look this good for long. >> Yeah, it won't. >> Yeah, you're going to keep it looking nice? >> It's going to get locked up. And then nobody else is going to be able to use it. >> the problem I hate is when somebody else uses my tools and then they don't put them back when we're done when we're done. All right, so plenty of room. Hey, show them the jack. Where's the jack we picked up? Who Who would have ever thought they'd do this nice of a paint job on a freaking jack? >> That's a pearl coat. >> Yeah, it is a pearl coat. >> That's a pearl coat on a jack. >> That was awesome. Let's show them hey, lift up the truck once, huh? Will you? >> Sure. >> Look at it cuz it's got a fat cuz the thing with the jack is it's got a fast jack on it. So normally you just you just put your foot on it, right? And and give it a jack, but >> Oh, here. I'll show it when it's totally down. >> Yeah, cuz it just takes a few pumps to get >> watching Alex jack off. And that's not a light truck, either. >> And not a good spot to pick it up, either. It's a lot of weight on there. It's pulling the front up, too, a little bit. You're off You're off the ground pretty good there. >> Yeah, you're off the ground a good 4 or 5 in. I love front tire. It's almost picking up this whole half of the truck. Not yet. All right, shut it down. All right. All right, guys. Well, thanks. Oh, yeah. Let's pull out the 12-ton. Two 12-tons and then the 6-ton and then we'll show we'll give you guys a sneak peek at the next giveaway that we're building out. So this is before. So you guys Alex has already got her cracked open pretty good. Grill's off. What are you going to do to it? >> Uh black grill, color match the bumpers, color match the mirror caps, color match part of the little side steps, color match the rear bumper. I got all the parts over here. I had to take all the plastics off of the bumpers to uh have them get painted and we'll put all this back together and then we'll get the headlights tinted and we'll get this chrome around the edge there blacked out so that it's all kind of color matched. >> Mhm. >> Coordinated, so >> And then as As as we get the final postcard entries in, we get to pick the winner on that one. That one's already next week. Then we're going to get started on this one. Make it a We're going to put a 4-in lift in this one, right? We're not We're not going to go so big, right? >> No, 4-in lift 36s or 37s. >> And I think we're going to put a one of our uh most popular trailers on it, the Dura Haul. It's coming. And we've got a nice Dura Haul set up for that one, too. So, what hitch are we going to put on the back? Do we have any idea yet? >> Probably just a current hitch in the back cuz it's a fifth wheel. >> Oh, that's right. >> Yeah, so we'll just get the flip-up ball there that you can get. The current ones they've got them right at Fleet Farm and pretty good. >> All right. All right. All right, stick around for that cuz we'll make a video showing you that one, but we just wanted to show you what we were getting ready for in the shop cuz it's It's always a fun day when we can add tools to the shop. Hope you guys had a little bit of fun going along for the ride watching uh seeing Alex's broken nasty fingernail and how he likes to superglue himself back together. He's got two more cuts today just from opening tools. Hey, Alex, do you get two more cuts today just from opening tools? >> Too excited opening all these. >> That's all we got for you in this one.
