This deck ain’t ground level, it’s GROUNDBREAKING 😮‍💨 #framing #lumber #deck #deckdesign #framers

What happens here

Sometimes joists can become wedged or 'pinched' during installation, preventing them from seating properly. To correct this, insert a pry bar between the joist and the adjacent framing member or support. Use the pry bar to carefully leverage the joist, applying pressure to shift it into its correct position. You may need to use a hammer in conjunction with the pry bar to tap the joist or to gently strike the pry bar to create more movement. Once the joist is properly aligned and seated, use the nail gun to drive additional fasteners, further securing the joist within its hanger and to the adjacent framing.

Goal: Correct joist alignment and ensure secure fastening
