Assemble Drainage Pipe Network

There won’t be any ponding on this patio! Water is going to wicked away like a water slide!!
What happens here
Workers meticulously cut, prime, and apply PVC cement to connect various sections of white PVC pipe. This includes straight sections and Y-fittings, which are critical for allowing multiple entry points for surface water collection, such as from channel drains. The pipes are carefully assembled to form a continuous, sealed system within the trench, ensuring structural integrity and preventing leaks. The Y-fittings are particularly important as they provide connection points for risers that would extend upwards to the surface where linear channel grates would be installed to capture surface runoff.
Goal: This crucial step involves cutting, priming, and gluing sections of PVC pipes and various fittings to create the complete subsurface drainage network, including Y-junctions for future channel drain connections.
