The triple Deckorators miter fold 😤
What happens here
The project begins with cutting the composite decking boards to the desired length and angle. A large speed square, such as the Swanson Speed Square, is used as a guide for the circular saw to ensure precise 45-degree angle cuts on the ends of the boards. The speed square is clamped to the decking board to prevent movement during the cut.
Goal: Prepare composite decking boards with precise angle cuts
Tools and materials
- Bar Clamps Rockler — Securing the speed square to the decking board
- Circular Saw DeWalt — Cutting the composite decking boards to length and angle
- Large Speed Square Swanson — Guiding the circular saw for precise angled cuts
- Safety Glasses — Protecting eyes from sawdust and debris
- Composite Decking Boards — The primary material for constructing the bar/island panels
