Tracking Mother and Calf through the Woods

What happens here

The farmer decides to walk through a section of woods to locate the mother and new calf directly. He explains that he wants to gently nudge them towards the rest of the herd. As he walks through the snow-covered woods, he points out the small creek where the cattle typically drink. He once again emphasizes that his cattle are strong and well-adapted to the environment, contrasting them with animals raised in confinement. He explains that hooves on feedlot cattle often overgrow and cause problems due to lack of natural wear.

Goal: Locate the new mother and calf to encourage them to rejoin the main herd.
