Reuniting the Calf and Mother with the Herd

What happens here

The farmer successfully locates the mother and calf by the creek. The calf, less than 24 hours old, impressively jumps across the small creek. The mother then follows, and they both head up the hill towards the rest of the herd, which is already grazing on hay in the field. The farmer notes that the mother is calm and attentive to her calf, and the calf is actively nursing.
