What happens here

The video shows the doorknob and deadbolt already installed and functioning. To achieve this, install the doorknob set and deadbolt hardware according to the manufacturer's instructions. This typically involves inserting the latch mechanisms into the edge of the door, attaching the interior and exterior handles/knobs, and then installing the strike plates on the door frame. Ensure that the latch and deadbolt engage smoothly and securely with the strike plates. Test the operation of both locks multiple times from both inside and outside. After insulation, the final cosmetic and protective steps involve installing interior and exterior trim (casing) around the door frame. This covers the shims and foam, creating a finished look and providing additional weather protection for the exterior.

Goal: Complete the door installation with hardware and trim.
