What happens here
After drilling the pocket holes, prepare to join the two mitered composite pieces. Apply a continuous bead of adhesive along the entire mitered edge of one of the composite boards. This adhesive, which appears to be a cyanoacrylate (CA) glue or similar fast-acting construction adhesive, will provide additional strength and a tighter bond to the joint, supplementing the mechanical fastening of the screws.
Goal: Enhance the strength and durability of the miter joint with adhesive.
