What happens here
With the pull plow fully installed and connected, it's time to test its operation. Get into the truck and connect the plow's control unit to the corresponding electrical connector, typically a 7-way plug for a trailer, inside the cab. Turn on the truck and activate the control unit's main power switch. Use the toggle switches on the control unit to operate each wing independently (in/out, up/down) and simultaneously, as demonstrated in the video. Observe the plow's movements to ensure all hydraulic cylinders are functioning correctly and that the wings extend and retract smoothly. Once functionality is confirmed, take the truck out to an area with snow and perform a test run to familiarize yourself with the plow's performance and control.
Goal: Verify proper functioning of the installed pull plow and practice snow removal.
