What happens here

Begin by parking the pickup truck in a clear and level workspace. Using appropriate hand tools, such as wrenches and sockets, carefully remove the existing rear bumper and receiver hitch from the truck. This often involves unbolting it from the frame. If the truck's wiring harness is integrated into the bumper, disconnect it as well. Be mindful of any rust or seized bolts that might require penetrating oil or extra leverage. Once all fasteners are removed, carefully detach and set aside the old bumper and hitch.

Goal: Clear the rear of the truck for new hitch installation.
