Finishing and Assembling the Fitting

What happens here

After applying three tight wraps, tear off the Teflon tape from the roll. Using your fingers, carefully smooth down any loose ends or frayed edges of the tape onto the pipe threads, ensuring the tape adheres securely and tightly to the entire threaded surface. Once the tape is smoothed, take the corresponding female threaded fitting (such as the 90-degree elbow shown in the video) and carefully thread it onto the taped pipe. Finally, use appropriate wrenches to tighten the connection securely until it is snug and forms a watertight seal.

Goal: Secure the tape and assemble the threaded connection.
