What happens here
As the columns are built up course by course, meticulously integrate the gas lines and electrical conduits within the hollow spaces or designated channels of the blocks. The video shows yellow flexible pipe, which typically indicates gas lines. Ensure that all lines are properly secured, protected from physical damage, and routed according to local codes and the architectural plans. Leave sufficient length of pipe and conduit extending from the top of the column for future connection to the fire features, and ensure appropriate access points for maintenance or connection. It is critical to consult with and ideally have a licensed plumber and electrician install and connect these utilities.
