What happens here

A prepared wooden joint, where two pieces of wood are connected by screws, is placed within the custom wooden test rig. A metal bracket, possibly an angle bracket or a hanger, is used to transfer force from the hydraulic press to the joint. The hydraulic pump is then manually operated, gradually increasing the pressure. The pressure gauge is observed as the force builds, indicating the increasing load on the screw-fastened joint. The pumping continues until the joint separates or the screws pull out, at which point the maximum registered force is noted as approximately 4000 pounds (#).

Goal: Determine the maximum force a screw-secured wooden joint can withstand before failure
