Testing Sno Powers F-12 snow pusher for trucks.

What happens here

Next, the focus shifts to the Sno-Power plow's unique features. It has adjustable pins and bolt holes on the plow frame that allow for adjusting the plow's height and angle of attack relative to the ground. This ensures the blade is perfectly level for optimal snow removal, even when the truck's geometry changes (e.g., due to a salt spreader in the bed). The plow also includes integrated kickstands (not traditional plow shoes) that keep the wings elevated when not attached to the truck, making it easier to hook up or detach. The host clarifies that these are not plow shoes, but 'kickstands' for convenience.

Goal: Understand the plow's adjustment mechanisms and kickstands

Tools and materials

  • Adjustment Pins — To set the height and angle of attack of the plow blade
  • Kickstands Sno-Power — Supporting the plow wings when unattached to the truck
  • Sno-Power Snow Plow Sno-Power — Demonstrating adjustment points and kickstands

okay so we're on a Chevy 3500 and Bryson's one of the guys Bryson and Rick made built these snow powers but I'm looking at this what are these bolts for so those are for adjustment so anytime you say you got this truck here which is$ 35 UND say you put a Salter in the back you're going to change your geometry of the truck you're going to start lifting the front of the truck up yeah so now you got to adjust the plow like you would with a Fisher or a western to meet the pavement where boss has all the adjustment on the truck side hitch well we did it on the plow and the truck side hitch so we utilize the boss P frame so that's our adjustment for height off the ground so it gets our um transition plate and our truck mount level so when we're plowing it's you don't want it at an angle you want it as level as possible so it's less resistance mhm so now when you have these holes here is how you adjust the T angle of attack when you're plowing so it gets your blade perfectly level on the ground so you get the best cut so I'm looking at this and I go what's that for and all of you guys are going well it's a plow shoe dum dum no it's not plow shoe it's not so when you got the plow where you got the wings back and you're trying to take the the plow off the truck almost got me saying it out plow to you we call them Kit stands so it keeps the wings up so you can pull in and out and let's go see your wiring harness okay what is this one now so that connects to your uh battery side on your breaker and then this connects to your uh line side on your breaker there's your power and this connects to your negative on your battery then right to your bumper that's
