Dry & Cure Finish

What happens here

After applying the first coat, allow the finish to dry completely according to the manufacturer's instructions. Drying times vary greatly depending on the type of finish, humidity, and temperature. Once dry, lightly sand the entire surface of the furniture with fine-grit sandpaper (e.g., 320-400 grit) to smooth out any dust nibs or imperfections and to provide adhesion for subsequent coats. Wipe the surface clean with a tack cloth to remove all sanding dust. Repeat the spray application process (Step 3) for additional coats, typically 2-3 coats are recommended for a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish. Always allow sufficient drying time between coats and sand lightly if necessary. After the final coat, let the furniture sit undisturbed for the recommended full cure time. This can range from several days to several weeks, during which the finish hardens completely, providing maximum durability.
