What happens here

Immediately after finishing the spraying, clean your HVLP spray gun thoroughly. Disassemble the gun and clean all components (fluid nozzle, air cap, fluid needle, cup) with the appropriate solvent (e.g., lacquer thinner for lacquer, mineral spirits for oil-based finishes, water for water-based finishes). Use cleaning brushes to remove all finish residue from internal passages and external surfaces to prevent clogging and ensure optimal performance for future use. Once the spray gun is clean, properly dispose of any leftover finish, solvent, and contaminated rags according to local regulations. Carefully remove the plastic sheeting from your spray booth and dispose of it. Clean up any overspray or dust in the work area, ensuring it's tidy for future projects. Store your clean spray gun and other tools in a dry, safe place.
