Stop wasting caulk on large gaps! Backer rod helps Big Stretch perform the way it’s designed to. 💪

So, I'm going to use Big Stretch right here to fill a really big gap behind this benchtop in this garage right here. And the gap is so big, if you try to put the caulking down there, it's just going to just fall right through or it's just going to be like endless filling it with caulking. So, I'm going to use backer rod. If you've never seen this, this is backer rod. You're going to stuff this down there. It's going to give some backing for the caulking to actually sit on so you don't just have this endless space. There's different size backer rods. Right here I've got a pretty big backer rod cuz the gap right here is about an inch right there, an inch to an inch and a quarter, then it goes almost down to nothing, and then it gets to about a half an inch or quarter inch right there. So, backer rod, we're just going to stuff it down there. The backer rod also helps your your your sealant or Big Stretch perform even better. So, just going to take and stuff it down in here. So, I put my backer rod in. Now, I'm going to fill my gap with Big Stretch.
