Starting Our BIGGEST Patio Ever! INSANE BACKYARD Pt 13
What happens here
The process begins with using a skid steer equipped with fork attachments to efficiently move pallets of pavers closer to the installation area. Following this, the crew meticulously prepares the screed bed for the main patio. Screed pipes are set up, and a Bosch laser level (model LR20) is used to establish a precise 2-inch pitch across the patio surface, ensuring optimal drainage. The screed bed material (fine gravel) is then spread evenly and compacted using a plate compactor (briefly visible), creating a firm and level base for the pavers.
Goal: Heavy machinery is used to move materials, and the screed bed for the main patio area is carefully prepared, setting a precise 2-inch pitch for drainage.
