Spraying Ceilings with an Airless sprayer. Painting Ceilings.

What happens here

Begin spraying the first, light "fog coat" on the ceiling. The technique involves continuous movement of the spray gun from one end of the ceiling to the other, without releasing the trigger in the middle of a pass. This helps avoid "holidays" or heavy spots where paint might accumulate due to stopping and starting. When encountering obstacles like light fixtures, carefully spray around them, then resume the long, continuous passes. The aim of this first coat is not 100% coverage, but rather a thin, even layer that dries quickly.

Goal: Apply a light, quick-drying first layer of paint to the ceiling.
