What happens here

Once the geotextile fabric is laid, secure it in place by placing small rocks or other suitable weights along the edges. This temporary measure prevents the fabric from shifting during subsequent pipe installation and gravel backfilling. Next, accurately measure the length of the trench and cut the perforated PVC pipe to fit. The pipe should have pre-drilled holes or slits to allow water to enter the drainage system. Assemble multiple pipe sections, if necessary, using appropriate PVC fittings such as elbows or couplings. Apply PVC primer and then PVC cement to all connecting surfaces for a secure, watertight connection. Carefully lay the assembled perforated PVC pipe into the center of the lined trench, ensuring it rests at the lowest point of the trench and follows the desired slope.

Goal: Place and connect the drainage pipe within the lined trench.
