What happens here

This project guides you through installing a sub-surface drainage system, often referred to as a French drain, to manage excess water. It involves excavating a trench, lining it with permeable geotextile fabric, installing a perforated PVC pipe, backfilling with drainage gravel, and finally folding the fabric over to prevent clogging before covering it with soil.

We got about 18 inches of stone on top of our pipe here. Now last step, got our non-woven fabric. We're going to fold this over like a burrito. Boom. Like this. Put another piece on top just to make sure it's totally separated from the soil and then put the dirt back on top. It's totally hidden. Good to go. Tucked into bed. Goodnight.
