Shower Leak Troubleshooting For Finding Your Water Leak!

What happens here

With the wall opened and the leak confirmed to be coming from a SharkBite fitting, the repair plan becomes clear. The leaking SharkBite fitting and potentially the entire shower valve assembly, along with other SharkBite fittings, will need to be replaced. The presence of these push-to-connect fittings in a concealed wall is noted as problematic due to their potential for future failure. The plan involves replacing the valve and ensuring all connections are made with more reliable, soldered copper fittings where possible, to prevent recurrence of leaks.

not a good setup that I'm really interested to see how it is up there how it's tied in because of that movement that's a bummer too all right so one more thing we're going to fix here is this wobbly handle on the shower valve and it's just going to be a Phillips head screwdriver down inside there I think it's just got a little loose yeah that's it all right much better all right so this job just got a little bit bigger than I thought it was going to be I probably thought that we would fix a an overflow gasket or a tub spout something along those lines but now as you can see we're getting in there he's gonna end up chopping out a whole bunch of wall and we're gonna end up replacing the valve right because he doesn't really like the valve and I get it and then all those shark bite fittings we got to get all that stuff out of there man there's copper down below I already can see that we'll get it all hooked up it's just going to be another video so please come back check us out we're going to be doing good things at least you got some good troubleshooting tips I hope out of this video and we'll see you again real soon
