Shop day in the Garage and testing a Cyrusher?!? (electric bike) 4K

well so they say the top end is 26 M hour but we've been going way faster than 26 M an hour on [Music] these what I was at about 40 there on the road according to the speedometer I love that magic button good morning evening afternoon one in all we got a special one today cuz it's that time of the year the holidays are upon us and my cat that refuses to come in i't Captain fuzzy boys hi well hello to you too Captain fuzzy boys how are you you're good oh okay Captain prefers to live out in the garage because of my big black German Shepherd that uh does not live out in the garage Captain and the German Shepherd don't like to live in the garage here's an idea for you plunge pool you guys want instead of spending $5,000 on a plunge pool just buy one from your local store stick it in your garage if you live in Minnesota and you have a a cold plunge pool all year round and in fact it's pretty freaking cold in here right now so we got to go hit our magic button and turn the heat on Magic button I love that magic button all right but I said we got a special one today because I was on a conundrum here's what was happening you guys before this kicks in and it sounds like a turbine engine in here um I love that thing 120 BTU it will heat this shop up five minutes five minutes I think we Heat this up I'll be able to walk work in my underwear I I know you don't want to see that so trust me I will stay dressed I needed a present for my daughter who does who lives off grid in northern Minnesota in a freaking y I'm not making this up she's trying to live completely self- sustaining and I thought what can I get her that will help improve her life well I got her something that is a means of transportation for her and her significant other Tarzan to be able to get around at least eight or nine months out of the year but before I spoil the surprise for you guys and for them let's just open this stuff up and see what we got cooking I can feel the heat from all the way over here I'm standing over here and I can feel that heat God I love this thing no fumes best investment I've made these Sunfire radiant heaters are phenomenal just freaking phenomenal but here's my two boxes giant boxes have giant presents yes all right let's crack these sons of a duck open and see what we got in our giant boxes I got a giant TV in my garage too that's so cool every guy needs a lot smaller mean I suppose they don't have to give you an air oh hi quality don't say they never gave you nothing Jen gong Jong you didn't believe me it's even got a manual for your battery how completely awesome is pictures now one of the things I always appreciate is when they give you instructions on how to open the box but those instructions on how to open the box are inside of the box but now at at least I know how to open up the next [Music] all right so it probably took me about 30 minutes in my sweat lodge yeah it's hot in here uh to get this finally assembled um and minimum skills I used all the tools they gave me they sent you a lot of extra tools I mean heck I didn't even dive into half of these tools but now before Mojo JoJo gets here that's my daughter I want to um I want to get it fit sized and kind of fit to fit her so I wanted to be a surprise so she can hop on it and and and give her a go so I'm going to see if I can't get a volunteer to help me okay so one of the things to note as it comes with two keys and a lock and this is the battery right here now you can leave the battery right in place and charge it there's a port right here or if you're worried about it you can take the battery right out and then you can bring it inside and charge it either way it's your call whatever you want to do with it the charger is about as straightforward and simple as you can get it's just a plug right in the side of the battery and when it's red it's dead when it's green it's G so we'll get her charged up and ready to go so while we're waiting for my volunteer to come out I'm just looking this thing over this is just well built the entire bike is just so well fabricated they did not cut corners on anything you know a lot of times when you order something you don't know what you're going to get I look at the little things I mean the seat is freaking amazing it's got a built-in bike rack on the back good everything is just good quality feel to all of the different components in this uh I'm impressed I am actually impressed from my initial uh construction I mean just look at all of these components that's just nice what's that hot it's it's hot here yeah it's hot in here that's what I love I turn that heater on for about 5 minutes and it's hot okay I need to size this for Cassidy when you're about the same height is her aren't you she's shorter okay so okay we we'll have you kind of be my model hop on her I like the step through design on it isn't that nice all right so let's let's shrink up the seat yeah okay so the seat's just too t too high M we'll put her all the way down low as it goes that's as low as it goes unfortunately is going to need to step on something then well cuz I can just you can just barely touch yeah she's like 3 in Shor yeah but it's got a step through design so that makes it a lot safer you know what I mean so you can just step down and then how how does it feel the handar placement is that about right yeah okay yeah good it's a pretty bike isn't it yeah how how well this okay okay so I know you haven't seen it but I do want to get a second opinion on this bike what is your impression of the overall quality of the bike um it looks good looks strong doesn't it solid yeah it doesn't look frail doesn't look like it's going to break easy I don't see where they kind of chined out anywhere do you know what I mean that's the thing I look for when I'm looking at something I'm looking all right did they like that yeah like did they did they make this cheap no nothing nothing's thin it's all it's all sturdy yeah it's all strong good quality components all the way through I'm actually really impressed yeah it's a nice bike yep we should keep one are you good yeah thank you it's shop day over my car which is technically not in here because I have my ice plunge bath in the garage and I'll let that sometimes I let it get ice that thick free [Music] all right Pro tip for the install do it upside down like this that's what they call for in the directions what I did in that video was I did it sideways and I did that so you guys could watch the process that made it a lot more difficult and it didn't need to be and it was mostly difficult right and adjusting the handlebars so if you do it the way they say it actually is pretty easy all right there they are you guys we got the orange they do have color options and the reason I went with this company is I checked them out really thoroughly cuz electric bikes are a dime a dozen but I heard really really good things about this brand now I've never experienced them before but I did hear good things about them and they make a battery powered freaking uh standup paddle board and I really want to try that so this works out good they got another toy that I want even more that uh I may pull the trigger on and try to buy but I didn't want to buy that if these didn't turn out good so next up we got to give them a test run right okay so Zach and I are going to take these out for a test run they supposedly go 50 mil not 50 m an hour their range is 50 mil it's not bad no that's pretty damn good actually and their top end well I guess we're going to find out but it's got pedal assist so when you pedal yeah the bike will take off kind of makes it feel like Superman right yeah really does and then um it also has a throttle like a motorcycle so we're right here okay but here's where it gets kind of weird it also has shifters like on a bike so down and then you just go up that way so that's the way it is now you got four modes of power so the onoff button is underneath here and then once you get this turned on you've got the option of eco mode I don't know what low one but normal high and then power mode so that's your that's your modes something low is like maybe like something like if you're trying to climb a hill or something maybe I don't know gives you more or whatever but I'd say let's give these a test run and see how they hold up and then I want to get your opinion on that one and I'll let you know I'll let these guys know what I think of this one which one is your rear brake should be should be on your right on your left hand no I think this is front and this is rear cuz when I go for oh yeah yeah yeah yeah front left hand rear is right yep this one is your rear brake yep brakes should work don't count well I know but you still I think Zach runs a skid loader better than he does a bicycle yeah I do he's like oh skid loader you only got need one hand on your controls in order to turn the dang thing I hurt me way have toight oh for salting I know my hands are frozen you know what I like about these bikes it's pedal assist but you don't have to Pedal it no you can just use the thingy Moodle the throttle the hand throttle [Applause] yeah good day to choose to go bike riding huh yeah and then then me forgetting my gloves well my other pair my warm pair are soaking wet from hand all the wet [Music] [Applause] yeah so he's just using throttle to go up the hill right now and me [Applause] too yeah that was a good demonstration of just using throttle cuz that's a pretty steep hill I've walked my bike up this [Applause] hill throttle [Applause] only [Applause] some of you guys can call me a prepper I don't really care if you do or you don't and I know you're already saying oh just get a gas powerered motorcycle but let me throw this at you what happens if an EMP strike happens or a solar flare does happen and knocks out half the the electrical grid on half of the planet these are two viable options that are very very possible at least with this bike if you have a solar panel system which we do have for emergency backup power I can connect this bike up to that panel system and get at least 50 m of Transportation if a worst case scenario does happen and that's why I went with the battery power bike well so they say the top end is 26 M an hour but we've been going can't be too bad cuz I pay him to do this stuff with me any any of you guys get paid to go bike riding just saying but we had to give these a test run and I think this has been a dang good test run oh I'm paying for it with my hands not wearing gloves that's your fault when I go to work I usually dress the right way all I'm saying yeah I think over the weekend was the first time I've worn pants in uh what's it 2 months pants what are you talking about I'm just wearing pajamas underneath this oh jeez Zach that was your first time ever using a pedal assisted bike what do you think of it I like it I love them I love them they make you feel like Superman you got so much more power than yeah you don't you're not like dead tired after your bike rid or you could go up hills without killing yourself yeah all right so we've been we've been riding for a bit now and we've got still we've only used 18% of our juice and I'd say we probably went on about that had to be at least 10 miles minimum 10 miles cuz it's called the bike or it's called the tunnel run and we did the entire tunnel run and uh well yep we got our second I got a another Sunfire down in the lower basement these things are the bomb Oh my w love these things favorite heater of all time right here Frankie didn't know how to use one we're like you push a butt pranky and that was the wrong thing to say cuz now it's on all the time he's drying his clothes on him he's got the shop down here it was like 90° one day I'm like I walk in I'm like it's a freaking SAA in here Frankie can we turn this down is that a possibility oh
