What happens here
The dried gate enters the powder coating booth. Automated sprayers apply an even layer of electrostatically charged powder paint to the aluminum surface. The gate shown is being coated in a black finish. The custom 'Stoney Ridge Farm' letters, which are coated in a distinct 'nanny bronze' color, are handled separately. Once coated, the gate moves immediately into a curing oven, heated to approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit, where the powder melts and flows into a smooth, durable finish.
Goal: Apply and cure the powder coat finish
