Sharpen any Chainsaw Fast! Easiest way to sharpen and Maintain Your Chainsaw

What happens here

Secure the chainsaw's guide bar in a vise. Use a Sharpie or a lumber crayon to mark one of the chain's teeth. This marked tooth will serve as your starting and ending point for sharpening, ensuring all teeth are sharpened consistently. Then, use the appropriate Stihl 2-in-1 chainsaw sharpener for your saw (the presenter uses one for a Husqvarna 572 XP, labeled for 500i, 660, 572XP). Align the sharpener with the marked tooth, ensuring the arrows on the sharpener point in the correct direction (away from you). Apply three firm, forward strokes per tooth, ensuring consistent pressure and only cutting in the forward direction. Advance the chain to the next unmarked tooth and repeat the process until all teeth on one side are sharpened. Then, flip the chainsaw in the vise and repeat the process for the other side of the chain.

Goal: Sharpen all chainsaw teeth to a consistent angle and depth.
