Ruined Log on The Woodmizer?

What happens here

The presenter introduces the project, focusing on milling ash lumber from a standing dead ash tree. He explains that many ash trees are dying due to infestations from the gypsy moth and the ash borer beetle, which tunnel under the bark and kill the tree by disrupting its ability to transport nutrients and water. This initial segment sets the context for why this particular ash log is being processed.

Goal: Understand the source and condition of the ash log for milling.
