What happens here
Before beginning to paint, ensure your work area is prepared. While the video immediately shows painting, in a real-world scenario, you would first decide how to handle the light switch plate. For the cleanest lines, you can remove the light switch plate by unscrewing it and letting it hang loose, or even completely remove it after turning off power. Alternatively, you could mask the plate with painter's tape if removal is not desired or feasible. Have your wall paint and an angled sash brush ready. The painter in the video wears work gloves for protection and uses a small paint pot, which appears to be clipped to their belt, for convenient access to the paint.
Goal: Set up the area and gather tools for precise paint application around obstacles.
