Restoring Our Vacant 70s Compound House and Shops! Small Wins and Radical Changes

What happens here

The homeowner inspects the 30x40 log cabin shop, specifically pointing out that the window frames are crooked and do not close properly. He rules out structural shifting of the entire building, concluding that the windows were simply installed improperly. He states that fixing these frames is a necessary step before proceeding with spray foam insulation to make the work easier and ensure proper sealing.

Goal: Identify and plan the repair of improperly installed window frames.

It's still got the V12 in it. And for an update on this garage here, we are going to spray foam it. But before that happens, I have to go through and figure out how to straighten these window frames cuz you see it's it's way out of whack. So much so that it doesn't even close the whole way. And we got to get that figured out before we do the foam. I guess we don't have to, but it would make it a heck of a lot easier to not have to chip away foam to fix this. And they're both like that. That one's crooked, too. And so is the door. So, we thought that's weird. It is the whole building shifted. We measured it. No, it's not. Whoever put it up just got like half on the wrong side of a mark and then just staying that way the whole way down. So, they're all parallel. It's funny. The studs that are on both sides of the windows are straight up and down, but the rest of them aren't. It's the strangest thing. So, you can expect to see that in a future update video. We're definitely going to film it. We're going to film the whole insulating process. And I got to change that back wall. I've decided I don't like that corrugated stuff because the way it the way it overlaps on there, it pushes out. So, if we ever put some kind of siding over it, there would be a bump in it forever that you wouldn't really be able to get rid of. And I just don't like it. I'd rather it'd be like 17 sheets of OSB or something. So, I got to take all that down, which is why I had
