Repair A Graco 695 Airless Paint Sprayer Not Priming Properly.

What happens here

Place the cleaned or new filter back into its housing. Then, screw the filter housing back onto the Graco 695 sprayer. Hand-tighten the housing until it is snug. The presenter emphasizes that the filter housing should only be hand-tight to prevent it from getting stuck with dried paint and requiring excessive force (like a wrench) to remove in the future.

Goal: Securely reattach the serviced filter and housing.

your cap. Going to put that filter back on. Going to stick it down inside. And I I like to take around my threads right here. I like to take some some packing lubricant and put it around these threads just so any paint doesn't dry on there. and glue that on there. There's any debris or anything like that and always keep them loose and keep it so it's just handtight. Just going to put it back on. Screw it down. Hand tight. It's good to go. But you want to have that filter good and clean. The filter gets clogged and it's not allowing paint to pass through, could drop your pressure, could start having spray pattern problems, getting some fingering and spitting. So keep that filter fresh and clean. This is Chris the Idaho Painter videoing to you from Boise, Idaho.
