What happens here

With the trim boards cut and shaped, carefully position each piece around the window frame. Ensure that the corners meet cleanly and the trim is level and plumb. Use a nail gun to securely fasten the trim boards to the house siding. Drive nails at appropriate intervals, typically into the studs behind the siding, and make sure they are countersunk slightly below the surface of the wood. This provides a strong attachment and allows for a smooth, finished appearance after painting.
