Removing Spray Foam. Can a Crocodile Cloth perform?
What happens here
Once the trim is installed, it's essential to seal all seams and gaps for weatherproofing and a professional finish. Load a tube of exterior-grade caulk into a caulking gun. Apply a consistent bead of caulk along all joints where the trim meets the window frame, and where the trim meets the house siding. Immediately after applying, use a damp finger or a small sponge to smooth out the caulk bead, pushing it into the gaps and wiping away any excess. This creates a clean, sealed, and paint-ready surface.
Goal: Seal all seams and gaps in the installed trim with caulk.
