Connect the sander to a high-efficiency dust extractor or shop vacuum to collect dust directly at the source. Gently move the sander in controlled circular or sweeping motions over the patched area, applying light and consistent pressure. The dustless system significantly reduces airborne dust, making cleanup easier and improving air quality. Continue sanding until the patch is perfectly smooth, flat, and seamlessly blended with the surrounding wall texture, with no visible lines or bumps. Check the surface by running your hand over it to detect any imperfections. After sanding, the wall should be completely smooth and ready for priming and painting.
