Rear mount verses Front Mount Rototiller ! You Decide!

What happens here

The first setup features a vintage Massey Ferguson 240 tractor, identified as a 1984-86 model with approximately 850-900 hours, boasting 41 PTO (Power Take-Off) horsepower. This two-wheel-drive tractor has been fully restored and is considered a reliable 'workhorse'. The rear-mounted implement is an Everything Attachments ER62 Heavy-Duty Tiller, known for its robust tines and a 5-year gearbox warranty. It includes an adjustable depth setting, typically set to the deepest setting for thorough tilling. A unique feature of this tiller is its integrated kickstand, which prevents the tiller from rolling over when unhooked from the tractor, making attachment and detachment easier compared to other tillers.

Goal: Inspect the specifications and features of the rear-mounted tiller and its compatible tractor, paying close attention to power output, tire configuration, and depth adjustment mechanisms.

first things first here let's talk about the two tractors we're going to be using this is a Massey Ferguson 240 I believe it's a 1984 86 model it has about 850 900 hours something like that it is 41 PTO horsepower and we're going to be pushing to everything attachments tiller let's go back here and we'll talk a little bit about the tiller now this is a two-wheel-drive tractor okay it's been completely restored even though it has very low hours it's been repainted it's a beautiful tractor and it's a great little workhorse let's go back here and I'll show you the tiller the tiller we're going to be using on the back of the 240 tractor is that everything attachments er6 t2 tiller it's from everything attachments it's from Newton North Carolina and we know that it's a quality piece of machinery so there's no doubt about that we tilled our garden last year with that and we didn't have the ventrac so we're gonna compare the two I'm not really sure who's going to do the best or if they're gonna both do really well and we'll just be able to experience it a little bit differently with a front-mounted tiller versus a rear-mounted tiller now the tines on this thing are very very tough this has a five year gearbox warrantee I do believe so over here on the side you have your gearbox and you have an adjustment right here for the depth of how deep you want to tell we're pretty much set in the deepest setting right here on this tiller we're ready to rock and roll so if you've ever used a roto tiller with any other type of tractor what happens when you unhook a rotor tiller is it like stuff well it likes to roll over so one of the cool features of the everything attachments tiller is if I can get the pin out is that it has a kickstand on it in other words you pull that pin and the kickstand drops and then you don't run into the same issue that you have with most tillers where they just flop over and you have to pick them up and wrestle with them to get them hooked up to the tractor very cool tool very nice very reliable and I can't wait to use it let's go check out the
