After securing the drain hose and trimming the zip tie, perform a final verification. Gently tug on the drain hose to confirm that it is firmly attached to the water supply line and cannot easily pull out of the drain pipe. Once you are confident in the security of the connection, the washing machine is ready for use. This simple measure significantly reduces the risk of accidental flooding caused by a dislodged drain hose.
