Quick Tip To Avoid A Laundry Room Flood!

What happens here

Once the zip tie is pulled tight and the drain hose is securely fastened, take a pair of snips or side cutters (the video shows red-handled snips). Carefully position the snips near the head of the zip tie and cut off any excess length of the zip tie's tail. This provides a neat finish and prevents the loose end from snagging on anything behind the washing machine.

Goal: Remove excess zip tie for a clean and safe finish.
