Install Gate Operators

What happens here

With the operator post holes dug, the All-O-Matic SWI 325 swing gate operators are prepared for installation. These are 24-volt DC units, specifically designed for integration with Josh's 190-watt solar panel. Each operator is carefully lowered into its respective hole, ensuring the mounting plate is level and the posts are plumb. The operator units are secured onto two steel posts that will be set in concrete. This process requires precise positioning to ensure the gate arms can extend and retract smoothly without binding. After placing the operators, concrete will be poured around the posts to permanently secure them in place, providing the necessary stability for the heavy-duty operation.
