Power raking! #shorts
What happens here
With the power rake securely attached and the skid steer running, engage the auxiliary hydraulics to activate the rake's spinning drum. Lower the attachment to the ground, setting the desired initial depth to break up compacted areas and bring larger rocks and debris to the surface. Begin driving the skid steer slowly and steadily forward over the work area, maintaining a consistent speed and depth. The power rake will aggressively churn and sift the gravel and soil, effectively leveling the ground and preparing a looser, more uniform bed. Observe the material being processed and adjust your speed or depth as needed.
Goal: Break up compacted surfaces and bring larger debris to the surface.
