(13,954 characters)all right you guys well not a good phone call tim just called me told me that alex has broke down the short iron the short iron is not responding it's totally dead d.o.a and he's not in a good spot alex isn't so here's so here's the story we got done snow plowing last night called our account and said hey do you guys want to be plugged no no no we're good it'll melt it'll melt and then out of the blue this morning they called up and wanted to be plowed and without any hesitation alex grabs his truck he goes out he shovels all 46 homes by himself and then starts plowing all of these houses by himself but his short iron i mean it's our oldest snow plow and it's been great it's still a great plow something happened to it so tim's on his way out i'm gonna go out we're gonna go see what's going on with alex let's go now [Applause] he is in here somewhere i guess this is as good as mine nothing looks like this driveway hasn't been done so i got that one done this one needs to be done oh yeah no there's a lot of them that need to be done yet but all right oh there it is i can see it tim said he's trying to find a new solenoid it could also be possibly in the battery itself we have checked the fuses already that control it um the battery is four years old but it just seems weird that it was working working working and then all of a sudden nothing right it just doesn't seem quite right oh some of you guys want to know what tires we were running before on this truck when we went up in the woods cooper discovery atp so let's look in the back here could be right there let's see these are the wires it could be corroded right there runs behind the frame all the way up into the front of the truck and then up into the battery and then bring it back and start to work on it we got to get it to lift up that's what we got to do and we gotta get all these driveways plowed yet around you think it's a battery i think battery is part of it i don't know if the battery's there just to you know make the plow go up and down when it's unhooked or i think i think it's less of a load on the actual battery in the alternator on the pickup truck it is but there's also a connection on the outside of it that it could be it so where that where we got it i took a screwdriver oh you figured it out across the solenoid to see if that was because it's not clicking so there's no power to that so then we just you can't tell if it's blown but uh just took a screwdriver and all sudden it started making noises i was like okay and i think that it flew that fuse because it was drawing so much voltage with this low battery so it was working so much harder you know yeah we'll throw it in and we'll throw a new fuse in we'll see what happens i'm gonna start plowing then is this the craftsman set we bought yeah no he bought it himself oh you bought your own craftsman set i was gonna buy a bunch for the guys and then alex had one so it's like huh he's already got one we didn't buy the guys well i thought you did buy the guys a bunch the reason i ask is tim i remember the conversation like hey should i buy the guys a bunch of tool sets and i'm like do whatever you want to do and then this is what happens he decided on some bonuses [Laughter] i'll take money any day i'll buy my own tools that way all right you can buy whatever you want all right let's get to plowing i know i don't like it when i hear tim custom as i walk away oh what well just thinking of how to get this battery out hopefully it just tips right up but it doesn't look like that's going to have room to do that oh so i don't know if you got to pull all these out or what it seems a little tight in there doesn't it a little tight i just throw a little wd-40 on it or something that's my favorite thing to use i don't care about wd-40 or silicone spray here whatever there was another one wd-40 and then one was 80 and it was like twice as good i can't remember what it was jd 80 or something like that i can't remember the name of the other spray [Music] it's faster well the battery was dead back there like the last couple snow storms have been so slow because it's i watched you last night it was slow i thought it was because you were just getting bound up by so much no i was slush no the battery's dead oh but i you know that's one thing why would we buy a battery for one snowfall and then let it sit all summer you know it's kind of just make you go through that and we just gotta do it on the last snowfall since it's also oh no no no on the last 15 driveways yeah yeah that because that's about what we got left is like the snow was melting before you know there was snow on all these driveways when i started sitting here and now now it's just the edges so so it was the fuse did you replace the fuse yeah new fuse battery you know combination of both i think the battery caused a fuse to blow and just i just can't tell really but jumping across there she had enough juice to make a noise so i figured it was this i'll just do it without you there man i don't want to pinch your fingers in here it looks kind of burnt doesn't it i'd say however that would have went in there i guess i'm not exactly i bet that's how it was yeah just like that something like that but that looks a little fried a little melted so ah good cat cop nice good catch save that copper for frankie he's got everybody trained to save him stuff oh my god there's a piece of metal it's worth like half of one penny we'll save it we'll carry it across the site we'll put it in a pile and we'll give it to frankie in like three days and they will do that he just loves scrap it's kind of fun let's go see how it works on one of the heavier driveways i'll follow you push it into the middle of the yard so we got more room for the rest of the season what's wrong with you no it's fine alex push it into the middle of the next yard we need room for next year drives tim crazy don't don't do that i mean i know you know but tim just gets ticked and leaves one two three four about four and a half car garage three swipes so much faster with that back plow this is the reason why we fell in love with these was this this development right here these driveways got this little bit of an angle and boy getting in there means you're driving back and forth with a front plow i can't tell you how many times but he comes right in sticks his big fat booty in there flops a wing out whoa whoa go forward go forward just go out don't touch nothing just go out we gotta heat a leaky hose a hiki lowes okay short iron needs attention maintenance that which has just beaten us to it by about one week right here are you freaking serious one we didn't even it's no big deal we'll pop we'll pull ahead we'll pop it off we get that hose shop right across from where we snow plow they'll get 15 minutes they'll have it done but just you can't you can't leave your wing out like that maybe the boy you could he's getting to be a little too much like tim a little smart alec yeah it's the upper oh whoa whoa it's up and down one that's doing it it's not the wings yeah yeah all right yeah i just wanted to get it up a little more right all right i'll just go there right now always something right you can't just be an operator you gotta have little mechanical skills cause everything breaks well okay so he could have if his plow would have held up he could have came in and just back dragged that into two scoops now i'm gonna put the gopro on top of the truck and i'll show you how many scoops it takes me to do it so there you go you'll just have to trust me you could have done it in two scoops [Music] so [Music] tim's talking about his kid lipping off to him wait what i said she's mean she's got a mean streak yeah but where does she get that shock value want to get a response out of people from i don't know tim i don't know where would that come from huh [Music] hmm somebody's somebody somebody's harvesting what they've been sowing their whole life timmy uh-huh you're getting your comeuppance your comeuppance two years all right so you got about 20 to go before they stop making you turn gray all right well alex will meet you at the whole shop okay when she starts bouncing boy she bounces that didn't sound right are you kidding me why did that bounce like that every now and then she's a light plow every now and then she does that so did he rip did he really actually just come out here and start snow plowing and he shoveled all of these homes all what 46 of these by himself he's nuts he's not i showed up and he was sleeping oh he was sitting hanging out the window i suppose because he was working to 1 30 this morning when we were plowing all the other stuff [Music] well that didn't take very long you're wow boy that was fast god that guy that guy got you in and out yeah i think we need to replace all of these at some point all of them yeah it's pretty low now though so tim's getting some etf i think we're done out here though all right that's our video for today worked out much better than i thought it was gonna be all the breakdowns yeah yeah yeah you love that stuff i hate it no i hate breakdowns but i love it when you can come out and we're like yeah it's just this and this and then all of a sudden we're working it's not like the day the day i took the backhoe out was the most miserable son of a ducking day i've ever had when it comes to equipment all right guys that's our video for today we're all back in order so we'll have to see what happens next time seven it turned out to be seven driveways we had left to do pretty much i think for the year and the snowplow broke down on us which isn't the end of the world but we didn't want to throw a new battery in now and let it sit all season so it is what it is and that's our video hope you guys enjoyed the ride today i'm glad our breakdown didn't turn out to be too bad we got back we got operating again we got our snow plow account taken care of you guys got to go hang out with us and that was pretty awesome it's always fun hanging out with you guys and i see some of you guys are pre hitting that like button that is so cool basically what you're doing is you're liking the video before you even watch it thank you really appreciate that you guys that's awesome hope you guys enjoy it whatever time of the day week month it is for you guys i hope it is awesome god bless go get him you guys catch on another one [Music] so why do you even look at me look at that nice nice buddy stare at me like i'm not you're staring at me to know that i'm staring at you does she actually say it and she says what what are you looking at all right can you just see how this this is too big for the hole can you dump it in sideways i'm just seeing make sure i got the atf atm it's all atf i think the holiday brand might not work though i got some special stuff well uh holiday brand was the cheapest nope what are you trying to do oh you're trying to get it on my fingers oh i was getting close you didn't even notice no not oh not not brand new hydraulic oil on my finger i've never been that dirty before in my life even though you're a dirty dirty monkey you haven't been that dirty makes your boogers taste weird let's see people call are you the dirty monkey just don't google that [Laughter] i'll just dump the rest of this in there oh more lines maybe how much was that line 50 bucks that's expensive 50. from the battery and the little butt breaker thing that's 150 for those two things we had seven driveways left seven to go well i saw alex at the host i'm like yeah i just keep following you around today with my check card yesterday i was about to go to the go to the uh mechanic good thing we found paul that guy's awesome paul's awesome wait did you have to go to the mechanic yesterday because the truck was throwing codes oh look from the catalytic converter because it went into limp mode it wasn't in limp mode actually it was it was throwing a bunch of fault because those wires touched each other under there oh and blew a fuse so then it was throwing all this stuff off yeah it wasn't shifting damn shaft sensor everything's he goes there's just too much wrong with it this has got to be a fuse you know like that i hope so man the shop across the street got tim going though oh you ruined the valves on the heads and then i said he was worried so your old school mechanic fixed you up for 40 dollars 40 bucks and if you would have brought it in to a dealership 400. i would have guessed more like two grand because like even the a regular shop would have been 400 bucks they won't touch your truck for 400 especially if they know you work with it yeah oh my god they won't touch your truck find those old-school mechanics man those are the kinds of heaters right in the back he's got an ashtray just mounted full mob he's going through all the diagnosis this player goes here on his computer and he's like he circled what fuse number 37 or something 34 34. yeah you got a couple on here or he circles that he's like and then we walk out with a piece of paper and he pops it and he's like i can't tell but he's going to get a new one anyway because he already knew that was probably it yeah yeah so he plugged it in and spam oh those are the dudes 40 bucks those those are the guys you you find and you keep all right you guys i'll catch up with you later and here's our third ending to the video and that's our video for today you guys hope you enjoyed the ride it was uh turned out to be a better breakdown as if you can ever have a good breakdown the only good ones are the ones that get fixed right away and i suppose you're gonna do your thing and i'm gonna go do mine god bless go get em the snow bunker look how much it melted this is what we rebuilt last night just to keep somebody from stealing our stuff until we can get it all out of here god bless you guys go get him we'll catch you on another one
