Pond problems! Live on the Stoney Ridge!

stoney ridge and a balding mrs mr i'm at mr stoney ridge guys welcome to the farm today it's a beautiful day look out there atv sitting here and we're out at the pond and mrs stoney ridge is gonna be my camera crew for this adventure it's a little windy get over it i'm sorry it's gonna be a little windy it's windy out here today so i'm gonna hand the camera off to mrs stoney ridge and what we've got to solve is a problem right there i've got muskrats packing and digging holes so there's a hole right here muskrats here are pond and i think they're packing grass up in the standpipe so mrs stoney ridge you take the camera from here let's do it don't hit any buttons okay i'll try not to get on me while i okay suit up so i'm in my finest attire today um if it ain't tight it ain't right shirt and my rubber boots right here and i've got to put on some waders so we're slipping off the the bogs uh which which are good you know they're they're handy shoes but they're not good enough for wading out into this so this is going to be right on the edge of being too deep for the waiters so are we getting any comments there there goes the friday night's best yeah you see any super chats let the water tanks and moving cows around expect a video soon on all the babies we've got a bunch of baby cows now a bunch of calves you can't say baby cows those are calves so i'm so used to seeing the super chat so we're seeing the uh the live chat that it's killing me to not see the live chat can you see unfortunately it just comes in and out will it really quick blurbs but i can't see it seems like water is always deep for the water brother we're going to go robert's in the house running around john everybody's in here everyone's rooting on to get wet so yeah here we go yeah am i going to close and personal here okay there's a huge rock right there all right y'all are going swimming with him hand me the phone there we go now we're going swimming kids i stubbed my toe on a huge rock man right underneath my feet right here so we have a muskrat problem in the pond uh game warden is coming out tuesday and i'm getting a special permit to trap muskrats and our pond level you can see is way up that's the float right there and here's what we're dealing with so this is an eight inch pipe let's turn the camera around whip it around right here this is an eight inch pipe underneath the water there isn't it's called a street elbow but the water level's dropping really fast right now so this is an elbow that goes down and what that does is allow water to go up because up and down into the pipe so trash doesn't get stuck on there like that this is what we got she's a gusher now something really unique is that i can remove this entire apparatus and drop the level of the pond about two feet if i want to it's pretty interesting how we did this whole setup uh muskrat mink will take out the muskrats we don't have any minks around here are you going to film the game board and i don't think so just shoot them yeah i just took a shot at one right out here just a little bit ago i don't know you guys let me know but if you pop a muskrat will it uh float or will it sink so all this trash can go on down the pipe that's what's up that's that's fine our standpipe this standpipe was put in six years ago and then there's another one out there that was put in when the palm was built in 1960 so this is what we got i only get out here and do this about once a year it's always a special treat so might as well wipe the pipe off while i'm out here this is not a place you want to drop your cell phone i'll tell you that that would end the live stream pretty quick you know this phone's supposed to be waterproof i wonder what happened if i dropped you guys in there and spit out the other side who knows man who knows but here we are place deep don't stump your toe josh and it is leaking directly in the crotch right in the crotch so this is just a little treat of a live stream
