Pergola Over A Patio - The Kind That WILL NEVER Blow Away!
What happens here
Build a rectangular frame using pressure-treated wood to form the back wall of the pergola. This frame should be dimensioned to fit snugly between the existing pergola posts. Once assembled, apply a coat of black paint to the entire frame, allowing it to dry completely. This black base will provide a striking contrast and depth for the subsequent composite boards. Finally, horizontally attach coastline 7/4 composite boards (specifically 6x24 size as mentioned in earlier steps) to the painted frame, securing them with screws. Ensure the boards are evenly spaced and level, creating a solid and visually appealing back wall for the pergola.
Goal: Construct a sturdy back wall frame within the pergola using pressure-treated wood, painting it black for aesthetic contrast. Then, horizontally install coastline 7/4 composite boards onto this frame to create the solid back wall.
