Perfect accent for the backside of this wall, and it went up in about two hours!!

What happens here

Begin with a pre-existing framed wall structure. First, attach plywood sheathing panels to the wooden studs using appropriate fasteners, ensuring a stable and flat surface. Once the sheathing is complete, unroll and staple or nail a weather-resistant barrier, such as DuPont Tyvek HomeWrap, over the entire plywood surface. Overlap seams according to manufacturer instructions to ensure water tightness. Finally, install a layer of black building paper or a similar drainage plane material over the Tyvek. This multi-layered approach helps manage moisture behind the finished stone veneer.

Goal: This step involves preparing the framed wall by installing plywood sheathing, followed by a weather-resistant barrier and a drainage plane to protect against moisture.
