Prepare Room: Masking and Drop Cloths

What happens here

The team begins the preparation phase by laying down drop cloths on the carpeted floor to protect it from paint spills. One painter then proceeds to mask all the baseboards, windows, and door frames using 1-inch 3M 2020 painter's tape and 9-inch masking paper. For the window blinds, masking paper is quickly placed over them to shield them from paint. The masking process is critical to ensure clean lines and prevent paint from getting on surfaces not intended for painting.
