Initial Spray Application with Off-Surface Technique

What happens here

When spraying the door, begin the spray pattern by pulling the trigger while the gun is aimed at the masking, *before* reaching the door's edge. Maintain a consistent spraying motion across the door. Once you have passed the opposite edge of the door, release the trigger while still aiming at the masking. This 'start-off, stop-off' technique prevents any initial sputtering or heavy paint buildup from affecting the finished surface of the door. Repeat this process for multiple passes, covering the entire door.

Goal: Apply the first coats of paint to the smooth surface by starting the spray on the masking, moving across the surface, and stopping on the masking at the other end.
