How To Repair Stripped Door Hinge Holes. Fix stripped wood screw holes.

This is Chris, the at home painter. Got a quick and simple tip for you. And we've got some hinges on some doors that the screws are stripped, so the holes are too big now and they won't get any bite. So, the doors are actually falling off. And we use a simple method of using a golf tea, a simple little golf tea. Use some Gorilla Glue and a hammer and put some Gorilla Glue on the golf tea. You're going to drive it into that hole. Let it dry. And then once it's dry, then you can take and screw a screw into it. So, we just take our golf tea. We're going to dip it into our Gorilla Glue. Going to drive it in with a hammer. And then you'll snap the the excess golf tea off. It'll just break off pretty easily and it'll leave the wood inside the hole. And now the hole is actually filled up with wood and screw will bite to it. Again, this simple method will also work using wooden matches or actually toothpicks. Simple way to fix a stripped uh screw or stripped hole in the end of a door. Just take my Gorilla Glue. Just going to put little Gorilla Groove right on the end of a golf tea. Grab another golf tea. Just going to put a little Gorilla glue on the end of it. Going to hammer it right in the hole and and then snap it right off. You can keep reusing the same golf tea and break it off until there's nothing left.
