Purge Water from Hose with Paint

What happens here

With the paint now flowing through the prime outlet, the final step before spraying is to purge any remaining water from the spray hose and fill it with paint. Set the prime knob to the 'spray' position (up to either side) and adjust the pressure control knob to your desired spraying pressure. The presenter suggests a setting of approximately 2200 PSI, which typically corresponds to the 2 o'clock position on the pressure dial for exterior painting, but this should be adjusted based on the paint type and job requirements. Hold the spray gun over an empty bucket and pull the trigger. Allow the initial water in the hose to spray out. Continue spraying into the bucket until you see a consistent stream of pure paint emerging from the gun, completely free of any water or air bubbles. Once this is achieved, the sprayer is fully primed and ready for painting.
