Maintain Machine Filter

Next, you need to check and maintain the machine filter of the airless sprayer. Unscrew and remove the machine filter from its housing. Inspect the filter to ensure it is clean and free of any clogs or debris that could impede paint flow. Before reinserting the filter, apply some packing saver lubricant to the threads of the filter housing. This helps prevent paint from drying and adhering to the threads, and also helps to prevent rust, even on stainless steel components. Reinsert the filter and hand-tighten it securely. Avoid using any tools for tightening, as this can damage the filter housing or threads.
