(20,000 characters)Guys, the day had started off almost perfect. I had an excuse to head up north and test out the new UTV and put it to work hanging out with my buddy Frankie. I'd be but before I even left, the day got even better. I had a shipment come in from Japan that I'd been waiting weeks on. The delivery guy just came. That's always a fun time. Hi, Captain. And my buddy had sent me some artwork for the gym. I don't know how the day could have gotten better. That's the perfect spot for it. And this is my buddy Shawn McCarthy's artwork. He actually owns Irish Eyes Studios. This is the kind of stuff he does. He's a tattoo artist. And some of his work is phenomenal. But before I headed out, I wanted to take the dogs through their paces. And I think this was when things first started to go sideways. >> Uh-uh. Down. Down. Down. Down. Uh-uh. Sit. Bear is the one that yanked your arm right out of here. Freaking chest. I think my cardio is done for the day. I think the first signs of it all starting is when those two dogs were done yanking and tugging on me like a rag doll. I hear a leaf blower going. How much do you guys want to bet that it's Frankie? Across the lake. It's like 7:30, 8:00 at night. Let's uh let's hop in let's hop in the UTV and go find out if we're right. Oh. Ain't that cute? That's so cute. >> Oh, that is awesome. >> Look at that little sucker. Oh, Frankie's got a new toy. Frankie's got a new toy. Let's see how things are going here. Frankie's got another new toy. Frankie's got always got new toys. Always got new toys. He bought that not that long ago. Let's Let's listen for the leaf blower, though. He's got these grounds spotless. OH, MAN. HEY, what do you think? It looks good? >> Yeah, looks great. Oh, man. Is that wrong? I love scaring people. And everything seemed to be going good until it came time to push that dock in. And I think that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Okay, we got some work to do. Frankie, the property looked awesome, by the way. So, um we got to push both docks in. For you guys that live in the South, we have to pull docks in the winter up here cuz the ice will rip them out if we don't. >> Or your snowmobilers will hit them. You know, if there's snowmobilers in the lake. >> Yeah. So, we got the impact. >> I think we believe it's in here. >> Okay. All right. So, we we this one we can just push push out, right? Cuz we didn't do anything with it. >> Nope. >> So, we should be able to just push it straight out. >> Uh if you're going to line it up with the cabin, maybe we might Ah, that's pretty close. >> I don't know. What do we really got to line it up with the cabin? We just want to create that central area swim area. So, did we yank that one over at all? >> That one I just pulled straight out. >> And this one? >> Well, you can see where they were cuz they're dead. Grass is dead from where they sat last year. You know, that one sat there and the other one Yeah. Same spot we could put them. Cuz that was a pretty good setup last year. >> That's fine. Works for me. Let's do it. When I was pushing that dock in with Frankie, my foot slipped and something snapped in my back. But like every blue-collar man out there, you don't pay any attention to it and you just keep going. It's weird, you guys. It's that little slip that just ripped something in my back. We might as well get the machine because we got to use it on the other one. I'm sure of that. >> You want to push with the UTV? >> Yeah, cuz we can put that right in the bucket and kind of >> You want to use the loader or the UTV? >> No. >> Imagine that. >> it then. >> An equipment operator wanting to cheat. All right, you guys. Here's something that you don't normally see me do, and that's putting a sponsored segment in my videos. And I get hit up probably 10, 15 times almost per day at from different companies asking me to do this. And I just say no unless I'm really comfortable and familiar with the product. And Brunt asked me to do a sponsored segment in this, and I'm like, "Well, sure, because I'm actually a Brunt fan. I actually wear Brunt boots." In fact, this is the boot that I typically wear 90% of the time. This is the old man slip-on style boot. You probably you guys probably aren't going to like these. I love these things because I know they're completely sealed from here here. I just slide them on my foot and I'm going. And I wear these spring, summer, winter, and fall. This is probably something that you guys would more like to have one of these new lace-up styles. They've got a lot of different styles. But this boot right here is probably four or five years old. And this is the one I typically wear when you see me out on my job site. Except in this video because I was anticipating that I was going to have to go into the water. Typically, when I push these docks into the water, I end up following the dock in to try to adjust it to get it to level out, to do something. And I always seem to be getting my feet wet from the knees down. And the last thing I wanted to do was slosh around in wet boots all day long. So, I slipped my shoes on instead. And as soon as I did that, I was pushing that dock and that ankle twisted. I didn't have the support that I normally have. That ankle just twisted, which shot straight up my spine and by the end of the day I was shot. I could barely walk. And so, I'm going to actually take you through what I did to recover because I have a really fast recovery cuz it's not the It's not my first rodeo, you guys. It's not the first time I've injured myself on a job site and I kind of figured out a way to dial in how to get back in action as absolutely fast as possible. I'm going to share that with you guys, so maybe it'll help you guys. But, if you have anything that you guys specifically do after you get yourself injured, you got to share it with me because I'm always searching for a bigger, better way of doing things and I learn so much from you guys. But, let's jump right back into this video. Yeah, I'm going to hook it up or you lift it up a little bit if Oh. Yeah, the middle's got to Where you're at it's got to go up a little bit. Yeah. Yeah, that looks pretty good. I think you were right, Frankie. >> What? >> Look at the load. Look at the loader. >> Oh. >> You'd think I'd know what I was doing, right? All right. Hold on for a minute. Let me I'll get it fixed. Here, you film this way, yeah. >> Yep. What are you going to do? >> I don't know. Help me all right on the back. >> Uh Who would have thought a bunch of docks that you could do that? >> And that is why we pull all the dock sections off before we pull the dock up, cuz those things are a lot heavier than you'd think. So, now I'm guessing you guys have hurt your back just the same as I have. This happened yesterday, and by last night I couldn't walk anymore. I couldn't sit. I couldn't do anything, but I came home and I did a few things very specifically to try to expedite the healing process in my back. And I want to share what I did. And it's given me probably about 50% of my mobility back today. And I like to hear from you guys what you guys have done when you guys have put yourself into one of these situations as well. But I'm going to show you exactly what I did last night. The first thing I did when I came home last night was the inversion table. I know you may not have one of these things, but I have injured my back so many times that these are definitely worth the investment. You can buy them used on Facebook. They don't cost you an arm and a leg. But if you're in that situation where you hurt yourself and you don't have one of these available, there's two other things you can do that are just about equivalent to the inversion table. The yoga ball. Freakin have someone buy you a yoga ball or go get your own darn yoga ball. They're cheap. You get down on it like this. And you force that back to decompress however you can do it. You got to get that back stretched out. And if you don't have a yoga ball, you guys, this one this move is mandatory. I can't start most days without this move right here. Cobra stretch. Just like this. This one doesn't cost any money, requires no equipment, but all three of these get that spine to release. This is exactly what I started to do last night. Although it hurt like you couldn't believe, it allowed me to at least start moving again. >> All right, guys. I'm going to do something that I've never done for anybody before, but I'm going to give you a really quick tour of uh the Shangri-La Lodge. So, it's a VRBO that Frankie and I have put together. I'm going to show you some of the unique aspects of it, but it's really meant to be a family compound. And right now, Frankie's getting the adjust the other dock adjusted, and these two docks create this uh secured swimming area for the kids. So, it's meant to be for a larger family, and in fact, that place right across the lake right there is also mine, and that's meant for if the grandparents want to come, but they don't want to have the the grandkids breathing down their neck, they can rent there, and you can talk across the lake. But, let's show you what we did here. So, just to give you the idea, this is your swimming area between the two docks. But, I want to show you some of the more unique things that we did with this property. That cabin and this cabin can only be rented by one group of people at a time. So, two two different groups can't come here simultaneously. That's just not allowed. It's one group, one family per rent. And so, this becomes the central courtyard area right here. This is actually a wood-burning sauna. I love this freaking sauna cuz when you sit in this sauna, you can see straight out into the lake. You got your fire pit. You got the bunk house up top. There's a master bedroom there, master bedroom there. And then, everything that you've seen here is wood that Frankie and I have basically hand fabricated. Like, see this log here? This is actually wood that we've cut down off from the property. We notched, stained. This is all cedar siding that we've personally hand stained, but we'll go inside and show you what we did. This is where we got a lot of interesting, I think interesting details. Like this main countertop area here. None of this existed. This cabin was actually falling down. This is actually wood that came from a barn that we saved. These are logs. This is a log. This central log came right off from the property. So, we put a lot of these little details in here, lofted the ceiling. Then we have Welcome to Shangri-Lodge. So, this is actually wall here is for guests to actually leave their signatures, leave their artwork on. Here's the master bedroom with a walkout patio door. And then as you come back this way, you got the cave bathroom. Some people love it, some people hate it. Ideally, what I meant to if I was ever going to live up here, I wanted to have a walk-in shower that felt like a cave. And I was going to fill this room with plants. So, it felt like you were showering in the jungle. And then as we come around the corner, we've got a full laundry. And then we've got the white room. Just a very white room that then walks out and allows you access to the main yard, main area. So, that's the tour of Shangri-Lodge. We are open for business. It's on VRBO. If you guys ever want to come up to Long Prairie, Minnesota and rent it out, check it out, come on up. You can see all the work Frankie and I did up here. The next thing I did after I stretched everything out, you guys, is I hopped in this sauna. This is a Heavenly Heat Infrared Sauna, but it also has an upgraded red light panel here, and I installed a second red light panel over my head. The first time I ever seen these things, I thought they were a joke. Then I tried it out, and it was unreal the results you get out of these things. You've got to try it to experience it, to really realize the impact these things had. If you've ever thought about getting one of these things, you're if you were on the fence, I highly recommend it. These guys aren't sponsoring me in any way, shape, or form. This is just a life-changing tool, and for recovery, this is absolutely one of those fundamental things that I do highly recommend, but get it with the red light panel. This is Heavenly Heat with the red light panel, and then the second panel I bought is not by them. It's by a company called Platinum Platinum LED, and this is not sponsored by them, either. something or another. I'll have to look it up for you guys, but this is a medical-grade red light panel, as well. I mean, look at it. I'm glowing right now. Then I turn this one on here, and now it's hitting me on every aspect I can. These things really are as beneficial as you've ever heard about them. They absolutely are. They're a game-changer. All right. Let's head over to the other side. So, we've got two docks in, but we still have one more dock that we've got to push in, and the next one has got to only be pushed in by hand. I'm not looking forward to this, because I'm trying to hide it as much as I can, but my back is absolutely screaming at me at this point. This should be interesting. Shouldn't be hard. Be better if I didn't tweak my back. >> Yeah. >> Remember, always lift with a jerking heaving motion. And that's what I did on the two docks across the lake. Now I'm walking like I got something like my spine is twisted sideways. Hey, how's your back? I know what you want. You want to come in this way a little bit? >> No, she's fine. >> Okay. Oh, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. I don't want to mess up your ear. Actually got somebody there. >> Yeah, right here. You might not actually know that. >> But the stretching and the red light wasn't all I did, you guys. For about 7 or 8 months now, I've been going through a peptide protocol because my excuse me, wife is was critically injured. The doctors basically told her she wasn't going to walk again. And we didn't actually think she was going to still be around to this day, to be honest with you. So, I used myself as a human petri dish. If you guys want to know exactly what I did, everything that I've been doing for the last 18 months uh to help heal her from an absolute critical chronical injury that would have taken her out, I'll make that video for you guys. But, to heal myself specifically from this back injury yesterday, I took what's called the Glow Protocol Peptide Combo, and that is TB-500, BPC-157, and GHK-Cu inside one vial, and I injected it directly into the injury site. And then I took another peptide stack called NAD+ SS-31 and MOTS-c, and I put them into one syringe, and I injected that directly into the injury site last night. And then this morning, I got up and I did the exact same thing. And I'll tell you the results from that Do It Now combos. I'm starting to feel a heck of a lot better, you guys. At 54 years old, I've been able to put my body into a state of recovery that I had not been able to experience since I was 20 years old. 18 months ago, I was 30% over over 30% body fat. I was 53 years old, and I felt and I looked like I was 67. And I decided that if I'm going to heal my wife, I'm going to heal myself simultaneously, and that's where this entire path went down. And I'm trying to get her to jump into a video with me to walk you through everything we did from the diet to stem cells that she did to the entire process because it's been absolutely fundamentally life-changing. And uh I don't know, is that something that you guys would want to to hear? Let me know in the comments below. Here. All right, guys, we got all three docks in. But, we've still got to head out into the woods. We got to see if the yurt is still standing. Let's go pick up Frankie and head out to the woods. I don't know if you want me to film anything. I got to get out and use my phone to do stuff like that. Like when you find something unique or get stuck or after you jump off I like when you tip the the loader up and almost get it kitty wampus, yeah. >> I came here one day with the leaf blower, too, and kind of cleaned up around it and >> Yeah. >> Just make it look nice. >> We got some more cleaning up to do, for sure. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. >> My plan was always to come out here and do a final clean up. But well she's holding up good still. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Pond sure is dry, though. buckets. >> Oh, wow. Yeah? >> Boy, that's low. I wonder why it's so low. >> Well, uh let's see. The dam you know, it may have went and got busted up a little bit down in the blow, maybe. Maybe it's draining. >> This dam is still holding up good. >> Yeah? Yeah. I just want to see if there's a badger in there. >> A badger where? >> I was Oh, in the hole? >> Yeah, one time I was uh >> I wouldn't stick your hand in there. >> No, I wouldn't. I came out here and uh I came around the corner and this big old badger was running down walking down the road. >> Yeah. >> And so sandhill cranes. So, I follow it and I'm following right behind it and it walks straight up into there. There's four of them. Three there and one above it. Anyway, Frankie, it walks straight up there, crawls in the hole, and I follow up behind it, and it's going into the hole, and I grab it by its tail, and I give it a yank, and I pull it out. And this thing looked at turned and it looked at me like "Are you smoking crack?" It wasn't even It wasn't pissed. It wasn't frightened. >> It was wondering what the is >> was just looking at me like, are you that dumb? Are you that dumb? >> It also looks like it can do some damage. >> And it just turned around and it went straight into the hole some more. Just calm, cool, and collected. Like no big deal. I got it just like, >> So let's see if it's Nope. Almost a filled in. Oh yeah, he's got a hole up in there. He went upwards. >> Huh? >> I think he went upwards. >> Oh yeah. >> Dug up. All right, let's keep going. Yeah, this is way down. You could take a boat all the way out here before. >> Right. >> Now you can walk without getting your feet wet. >> Yeah. >> That's crazy. See, you might have to teach me something. They did make it wider. >> That road though. >> I don't see no idea of going up there with a pickup. They used to go right there the other road. I don't know. I don't know. I used to go that way. >> Yeah, it looks like he must have been using it. >> That's right. >> Oh yeah, he's using it now. That's too dangerous if you don't make it. You got to try to make sure you come back with strength. >> All right, that road. >> You didn't do that other field right there. >> Yeah, we'll go around. Looks like they're dropping trees over there. >> See like >> Cleaning up. I could I could get a couple of loads just cleaning up the wood. You know. >> Another thing though I did to immediately release the pain is this is called ultimate pain block. I'm not getting paid by these guys. I buy this stuff. This is actually cobra venom. It's made from cobra venom. This is crazy you guys. But this stuff and you can eat it so it's non-toxic. But I get this from a clinic in Lakeville called E. Michael Health and I buy as many supplements as I can from them guys. Their stuff is absolutely insanely phenomenal. They don't know I'm making this video. They're not paying me to make this video. It's just a phenomenal clinic. I've used them for so many things but it's called ultimate pain block. And I put this on twice since then and it just relieves so much…
