Not sure how I broke it! Time to weld Aluminum!

What happens here

To prepare the broken aluminum weld on the dump truck bed, use a Milwaukee cordless angle grinder equipped with a flap disc to clean and V-groove the area. This involves removing the old, broken weld material and creating an angled groove (V-shape) on both sides of the joint. This V-groove is critical for achieving full penetration and a strong, lasting weld, ensuring the filler metal can reach the root of the joint rather than just sitting on the surface. Similarly, for the broken tabs on the float dock, use the grinder to clean any old weld material and create a V-groove on the edges of the tabs that will be re-welded to the dock frame.

Goal: Clean and V-groove the broken aluminum welds for optimal penetration.
