Aluminum MIG Welding Demonstration

Not sure how I broke it! Time to weld Aluminum!
What happens here
Perform aluminum MIG welding using the Rebel EMP 285ic with a spool gun for the truck bed repair. For horizontal welds, maintain a 10-degree upward angle and focus on keeping the heat towards the top of the joint, allowing gravity to pull the molten filler metal downwards into the V-groove. For the dock tabs, use the Renegade Volt battery welder, which requires continuous wire feeding and a 'stepping' motion rather than circular. Focus on a short arc length and driving the rod into the joint. Adjust amperage settings based on material thickness and desired penetration. Clean slag after each pass with a chipping hammer and wire brush.
Goal: Execute clean and strong aluminum MIG welds on the truck bed and dock tabs.
