Construct a Repurposed Tire Water Tank

NO! I don't want the Government on My Farm! Here's how I messed up!
What happens here
To create a cost-effective water tank, repurpose a large skidder tire. First, use a cordless reciprocating saw to cut off one sidewall of the tire. Next, prepare a stable foundation of gravel and rock dust, leveling the area where the tire will sit. Position the tire, then pour concrete into the bottom of the tire to create a solid, level base. Install a float valve, such as a Jobe Megaflow valve, connected to the farm's water lines to automatically refill the tank as water is consumed. Adding goldfish (kept inside a protective PVC pipe) can help control mosquito larvae and maintain water quality. A drain system can also be installed at the bottom to allow for easy cleaning.
Goal: Build an affordable and durable livestock water tank.
